This holiday season Stacey thought it would be a great idea to pay back her mother for some money she "lent" her a couple years back. This money was part of what made it possible for Stacey to buy her condo even though she didn't have a lot of money. Perhaps she never expected to get paid back - which is what made this a great gift. We could have put a personal check in a Hallmark card or something - but instead I thought it would be a great idea to gather as many one-dollar bills as possible and stuff them into a thrift store briefcase. Although Stacey did not want to claim any responsibility for the Hollywood delivery method, I don't think we would have had nearly the same reaction any other way. Good stuff.
