Figuring out how to remap the default keybindings of mutt is easier than figuring out how to get it to use my local postfix daemon... this should not be difficult.
I have no particular affinity for mutt versus alpine, other than wanting to choose my editor. At one point I had figured out how to add document handlers for those pesky word and powerpoint attachments in mutt, so figured it seemed like the right tool for the job. Being an emacs person I figured you'd be into some emacs-nox mua for this.
1: don't use mutt, it's a poor substitute for pine
