WordPress 2.0

Well, as you will hopefully not notice I have upgraded to WordPress 2.0.  Since I had forcefully (and probably stupidly) hacked the bejesus out of 1.5 to do what I wished it took me more than a few minutes to get this up and running.  The best features of WordPress 2.0 are in the management interface.  A much better wysiwyg posting interface with a kick-ass preview pane.  It looks like categories are much easier, allowing you to add an arbitrary number of categories to a post (like tags).  Maybe I'll actually start using the categories now.  The K2 theme for WordPress 2.0 looks to be a pretty solid framework for people wanting a theme with ajax capabilities.  I'll dig a bit more into that later.

  1. whoa, so that's how you spell "wysiwyg"? i always thought it was more like "wizzy-WIG!" (the exclamation point is an integral part of the spelling) reminds me of like fizzing whizbees in a way, but i guess you wouldn't know about those since you always sleep through the harry potter movies...
