17+ Hours

The battery life of my ancient 1st generation iPod was getting quite weak. Thankfully a new 2100mAh replacement battery just came out a couple weeks ago. For $35 I now have an iPod that in my first real-world test lasted over 17 hours. I went to sleep at 17 hours and didn't wake up until 21 hours, so somewhere in there it died. I'm a satisfied customer - yeah cheap iPod.

  1. I haven't really run into any instances where I needed to listen to my iPod for 17+ hours, but I find myself jealous of your ability to do it. David bought a car charger for his iPod though so if we went on a road trip I could use that to power up...BUT what if all the power went out and my car battery died! I would only be able to survive 7ish hours!!

  2. Well, I'm not sure why I would need it to last for that long either, but it's nice to know that you could listen to it for an entire day of work without having to worry about running out of battery.
