This is a quick shout-out to Comcast. Finally they stepped up to the plate with something I have been praying for for years. This is not for good service or great prices it is because as you’re waiting on hold they say

your call will be answered in the order received.

rather than the omnipresent word diarrhea version

your call will be answered in the order in which it was received.

  2. I hate passive construction as much as anybody, but given the ~3 hours on the phone and 2 full days it took to get cable/internet/phone set up…it’s like complimenting Bush on his haircut.

  3. Frugality is my motivation. Rental places have cable. I think if I were a single dude I would not pay for TV in any way.
