I’m just kinda sensative about it

Unfortunately, the cause of the crash is unknown. The machine just locked hard – it was still up and running, yet doing nothing. I get defensive about the server because I spend a decent amount of time on care and feeding… but the hardware that muppethouse.com is running on is as ghetto as it comes. Because of limited funding I was forced to resort to all kinds of urban engineering. I took an old 1U machine that was discarded from United Messaging (yes, it was that crappy to begin with), I ripped out the insides, bought a different power supply, drilled out rivits, rigged up plastic standoffs, sawed some holes for ventilation, and slapped a micro-ata motherboard in there. I added a couple hard drives and a twist of lime and voila. The machine has been know to not start unless you shake it a little, so I have every reason to believe that this crash could have been hardware related. I don’t really need the whole daily affirmation thing – I just wanted to let everyone know whasssup.
